Remnants of the laboratory staff, theses faded fire giant researchers and drow servants are shells of their former selves. They echo the motions of their former lives, but these motions are dream recollections with little sentient thought behind them. Anabaraxus has not yet taken the time to reign in these psyches yet.

One severed psyche rests in the sleeping chamber while another lounges on the far side of the lounge. One faded psyche guards the resting area while the other two stand by the pillars out of sight of the stairs. These two are hidden at the start of combat unless a character’s passive perception beats their passive Stealth (at +20). The guard will call out whenever it sees the party (passive Perception 19).
